Looking for a Nanny
I have been looking for a nanny on Care.com and have been unsuccessful. If anyone knows a nanny looking for work, please FM me. I am in Bayside, have 3 kids, and am looking for someone M-F 7:45-5:45. Preferably someone who drives, but if they don't drive they will need to walk a mile to pick my daughter up from school. Thanks!

If you are on facebook, you can try posting on a local moms group to see if they know of anyone.

If you can't find someone on Care.com, I'd try an agency. I found a lot of great women on Care.com when we were looking for DS's nanny.

ah, ok. I found the daycare my DD is at by posting on the group "Childcare on Long Island" , but I also had a lot of people interested in nanny jobs messaging me.

Facebook
Care.com (got our best sitter here)
Posting in nursery school
Friends have posted in church
As a last resort, I'd do an agency. They are more $$ IMO... But I would try it.

Thanks all. Most agencies want 15-20%, which I refuse to pay. I am working with one that the fee is one week's salary. I will post in the additional fb groups.
