Looking for a "grandma" we met on the train
Her name is "Nana Diana Banana" and she and my 5-yr old DS really hit it off. They are both characters and entertained the passengers from Penn to Mineola a few weeks ago. He hasn't stopped talking about her and he looks for her everywhere we go.
Today he told me, "It's ok if we don't find her. I will look for her when I get to heaven."
She carries a blind service dog with her named Piper and she was going to visit a friend in Hicksville. I know she has a bunch of grandchildren (hence, her name) but I don't know if she lives on LI.
I figured I'd give it a shot and see if anyone here happens to know her. TIA!
