Looking for a couch that can withstand my DD & dog
We desperately need a new sectional. I'm looking for something that my dog won't tear apart and that's easy to clean. Any suggestions?
How is microfiber? leather? We want something comfortable. Post pics of yours if you can too!

I have microfiber. I have 2 cats, 21 year old son, husband 2 grand kids. We have our couch for 5 years and it has been holding up. I have just clean it with a little steam cleaner, and it came out very clean and dried great.

Re: Looking for a couch that can withstand my DD & dog
I agree with microfiber. We have two, one suede microfiber (from Crate and Barrel) and one velvet microfiber (from Macy's).
The velvet seems to be the better of the two. The suede you can see scratches in the finish and one cushion never felt the same after DD painted on it with Desitin (DH was sitting right NEXT to her!) and I did all that Crate told me to do to get it out.
The velvet has been great at spills, they just wipe right off. Macy's offers a protection plan at a very reasonable price and DH talked me out of it but I wish I would've done it for peace of mind. DD drew on my couch with pen no less than 2 weeks after we got it. With the protection, they would've come out and cleaned it off. I got it out with baby wipes and alcohol but I would've gladly paid the $80 to not have that headache. And if you don't ever use the service in five years (or something like that), you get a credit for your next furniture purchase.
