Look for good Chinese food in Commack area
I a looking for a good place for Chinese food takeout in the Commack area. The place I have been going to has changed their food, their spareribs are no longer meaty and they don't put anything in their wontons. They understand english very well untill you start talking to them about why they don't put anything in their wontons anymore and suddenly they don't
speak english very well anymore.Can someone suggest someplace.

My parents live in the area and go to Foo Luck on Commack Road....in the Meat Farms shopping center. THat place does an INCREDIBLE business.....

I don't know if it is too far, but we go to Chan's Kitchen on Jericho in Smithtown (right on the Commack/Smithtown border). It is in the shopping center with Hop N Bop and Flips Gymnastics. Right by CVS and Cafe Havana, a little bit east of Northgate shopping center. Takeout only.
Personally, I'm not a fan of Foo Luck - no bad experience, just don't love their food.

I live in Commack and haven't been able to find a Chinese take-out that I really like either.

I agree about Chans! (the pizza place in that shopping center is great too!)
We go to Foo luck but only for their sushi.

I was thinking about posting the same question. Thank you. I am not a big fan of Foo Luck, even though everyone seem sto go there. I think their food is pretty blah. Will definitely have to try some of these other places!

I grew up in Commack and wasn't a big fan ever of Foo Luck. There was a Chinese place across the street from Meat Farms that I loved in a smaller strip mall. Not sure if it is there anymore.

I think Long River is nothing special. Foo Luck has more sauce and less solid food in their cooking and is gloppy. Tofu is really cutting back on quantity and quality. Thank you for all your suggestions. I will try Chans.
