Long shot but..

This is a longshot but has anyone ever heard of whispering hills townhouses in upstate ny in the town of Chester?

We are thinking about checking it out.

Not THAT big of a long shot My grandparents have a condo in the complex. They've been there for about 10 years now and absolutely love it.

The neighborhood is filled mostly with 9-5 commuters to the city. Lots of kids....there's a great rec area and best of all, it's set back from the major highway (Rt. 17)...BUT, only a 2 minute drive to get on or off of it.

I'm not sure what the pricing is going for these days. When my grandparent's bought theirs years ago (3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath), they paid approx $100K.....now, they could probably sell for just over $300K.

The Goshen school district is one of the best in Orange County (my Aunt and Uncle actually allowed their two kids to leave private school to attend the public school b/c it was a wonderful education WITH the benefits of a diverse learning environment. (well, it's not THAT diverse---it's still Orange County), but more-so than private school was).

ETA: I grew up in Sullivan County and know all areas of Orange, Sullivan, and Rockland extremely well....so, if you need any questions answered---don't hesitate to ask. I currently live in Rockland still :)
