Long Night

DS woke up at 1:40AM, I let him fuss till 2. Went in, rocked him back to sleep, and he slept about 20mins.
Then, it all started over again.
I think it's teething. I offer him some bottle, he falls asleep, but, as soon as I go to leave he screams.
By 3 (something AM) I bring him into bed with us. Finally by 4AM he's sleeping.
I had no energy to transfer him. 6AM, fussing started a little again.
Again, I say it's teething.
Then, right before breakfast, he's in his high chair, I look and he got sick. OK, he has been putting his fingers in his mouth A LOT. I clean him up.
Now, about 30 mins ago, he;s playing and I see he got sick again. He did eat breakfast and fingers were in the mouth again.

So, here is my dumb question..Do you think he's getting sick because of fingers in his mouth OR does it sound like the virus to you?
Does a fever run with the virus?

He could be gagging himself with his fingers that is making him throw up. Fever usually doesn't go with virus but it can. Any diarrhea? Just keep an eye on him. If it continues get him checked out. Did you try tylenol during the night when he was crying?
