Long Island Womens Health Care Associates
Does anyone go to Long Island Womens Health Care Associates in Bellmore? I need to switch OB's and would appreciate any feedback on this office, doctors, etc.
Thanks!

Re: Long Island Womens Health Care Associates
I used to see Dr. Kunchem and liked her a lot. She is a gyn and doesn't deliver. When I got pregnant she was wonderful and saw me for my first two visits, confirmed I was preggo and did Sono to rule out an ectopic pregnancy and also a week or so later to check for baby's heartbeat. She put me in with her associate Dr.Frankel after that ,but I needed to see a high risk doctor instead.I also wanted to deliver at Winthrop and they told me that Dr. Frankel was not affiliated with Winthrop, but I think with New Hyde Park LIJ. I liked the practice and Dr. Kunchem and will def go back after I give birth and just need a gyn. This is the only info I have but hope it helps. Good luck!

I used to see Dr. Glasser-Caine there, but she left, and I followed her to her own practice. I honestly did not love the office. I saw other doctors there a couple of times for various reasons. Kuncham was nice, but as the PP said, doesn't deliver. I also saw Nathanson, who I did not like. I think there's only one doctor there now who delivers. When I was there, they delivered at South Nassau, but my friend who sees Kuncham told me that they just changed affiliations to LIJ.

I use to go there too, loved the nurses and physician assistant Janet Miller. She did not deliver. I ended up switching to someone my reproductive specialist recommended.

Re: Long Island Womens Health Care Associates
I was with them for my first pregnancy. Dr. Kuncham is great but doesn't deliver - although she did assist with my c-section. Dr. Glasser-Caine did my C and was wonderful. I never saw either male OB (I think when I was there in 2008 there were two). I saw the other OB once but I forget her name. Her bedside manner sucked.
I had to switch when I moved but if Glasser-Caine left I would not have stayed with them anyway.
