this is right down the block from where I live, there are still helicopters flying overhead...
took FOREVER to get home and our train was going to terminate in Valley Stream, but wound up going through.

OMG!! Just saw this on News 12. Had to call my dad, it's right around the corner from my parents house! Davison Plaza  My dad said he could see it from his front porch!
 Newsday says Atlantic Avenue. I saw the helicopter view on the news and it's not as far as I can tell! It is Ocean Ave and Davison Plaza.
My dad says the helicopters are still flying right above the house.. Trains going through now....

MTA web site says service has been restored, with 15 - 20 min delays.
