Loan modifications and getting approved for a new mortgage
Have a question:
My DH and I were approved for a loan modification back in Dec of last year. We are in an entirely better and new financial place right now. We're able to save and have a nice savings. We have a few questions and dont know where to ask but when we go to sell our home in approx 2 years we are worried if we are going to get approved for a new mortgage. Does this have an effect on us? Any input would be so appreciated. Thank you

Re: Loan modifications and getting approved for a new mortgage
as long as you did not make a ton of late payments you will ok
if you went past 90 days late a few times you might have an issue getting a loan based on your credit
the loan mod itself will not have an effect
FM me if you have more personal questions- I am a realtor, distressed property expert and I also do loan mods as well
