LO fidgety at night?

Another sleep time question.

When DD wakes in the middle of the night to feed she falls back asleep and once put back on the bassinet becomes so fidgety. Sometimes right away sometimes an hour later. To the point she wakes herself up n can't stay asleep. She is always swaddled at night but can't stop moving her head around or legs or side to side. I think it's partly gas. And partly I have no idea. Sometimes I pull her into bed next to me and she calms down and finally sleeps. I don't want to create a bad habit but need her to sleep at 4am.

Is this normal and if so when did your LO grow out of this?

How old is she? That sounds like gas to me. Maybr before giving her the feeding give her some gas relief drops.

Is she on formula or bf? If formula you may want to consider changing either one for gas or a hypoallegenic one like alimentum. My dd usedvto wake in the middle of night with bad gas. She would fidget some nights and have issues sleeping. Other nights she would cry and cry. She had ither issues as well and we finallt changed formula. Whole new baby.

She is mostly fed BM and only gets a bottle of formula before being out down and one when she wakes up in the middle of the night. We already use enfamil gentleease but since she only gets 2 bottles a night not sure if its really helping with gas.

Every time I speak to the Ped he just tells me she will grow out of the gas.

DD was very fidgety in the bassinet so we switched her to the crib at that point and she seemed more comfy. Is she def awake or could she be fidgeting in her sleep? With DD, DH and I were the only ones awake through it so into her own room she went!

Dd has bad gas too that makes her fidgety. If she's crying in her sleep its most likely gas. Can you give her pumped breast milk in the middle of the night instead of formula? She may react Ro it better
