Living Rooms with Leather Sofas

Hi all,

We are thinking of buying some leather furniture for our Living room.

I was thinking a leather sofa (that seats 3) and opposite it having 2 matching club chairs. Then maybe another 2 chairs (not leather for additional seating).

However, my DH wants to have 1 club chair and a love seat. Basically a 3, 2, and a 1 seater.

The set we are looking at also has a matching leather coffee table. We are undecided if this what we want to do. Would it be too matchy?

Anyways, I thought you ladies would give some good opinions. If you have any pictures of living rooms with leather furniture, please post them as well.

eta I meant to say the matching leather coffee table is really an ottoman.

You could do ottomans/coffee table that are microfiber and accented with a leather "feel." I saw them at Jennifer Convertables yesterday -- really nice and I think $175.

Basically, it's a little microfiber square but the top comes off and can be flipped over to turn into a coffee table. The accents its got when you flip it over to a coffee table would compliment leather nicely.

That is exactly what I am looking for! I need to go to Jennifer Convertibles. We just bought a leather sectional and are looking for ottomans that can be converted into a coffee table.

we have a cream leather 3-2-1 setup. The coffee tables/end tables are glass and light wood. We got ours from levitz/ No pics right now though.

personally, i think that is too much matchy-matchy going on.

i would do: a leather sofa, 2 non-leather chairs, and a non-leather coffee table.

Its the set we are looking for but in the setup we agreed on.

2 leather chairs & a sofa with a matching ottoman in the middle.

its a little tooo much leather- I think the chairs should be ups. Thats my imo.

You could pull of the look though if you use a few fabric throw pillows

I have a brown/tan leather Natuzzi set. We have the couch loveseat and chair (doesn't recline). We have a glass cocktail and end table. I think you should get a different table/ottoman to break up the room a bit. Maybe a wood chest or something like that. I think that might be too much leather and matches to much. You need to bring other fabrics or material into the room with th efurniture.
