LIRR to Shea
Help! Does the LIRR stop at the stadium if I transfer in Woodside or do I have to ride the 7 train? I need ideas!

Re: LIRR to Shea
yup there's an LIRR stop at Shea, and you do take it from the Woodside Station (I think it's on the Port Washington line).
And you can take the 7...either way it works. LIRR would probably be a cosier ride (I've never done it though- always taken the 7 for the subway series. I'm not a Mets fan. )

Re: LIRR to Shea
It's right across the platform - you don't have to go anywhere. Plus there will be announcements. Just follow the crowd.

so just take the babylon line and transfer in Jamaica and then head into Woodside. Once I am in woodside, follow the group? Or just drive....hmm

Once you're in Woodside, follow the crowd. I live in Woodside, trust me, you'll have no trouble figuring out which platform all the Mets fans are on.
