CURRENTLY the phones are available. that's it.
that totally stinks b/c if you call cable and ask them to drop the price, they won't because there is no competition. when there is competition, and you threaten to leave, they will be more competitive.
i did this in my last residence in massapequa. it worked like a charm!

I called the village and they said they have an agreement so it should be avail... but who knows the lady I spoke to sounded 100 years old so who knows....

last time I check with Verizon we didn't have it in our area yet. Call Verizon directly. We are happy with cable right now, so we are fine with it.
