Lindenhurst?
How is the area of Lindenhurst, N. Lindenhurst? There are a couple of houses in the area we are considering.
Are there any sections we should stay away from? How's N. Lindenhurst. The wellwood (north of it), straightpath (south), 109 (south of it) area (Kellum St. School area). If you think this section is bad why? Is it crime, condition of the houses, people that live in the area? Any information would be helpful.
Please be honest, I will not take offense!

Re: Lindenhurst?
JMO - that is NOT a good area to look in. I have lived in Lindy almost my whole life and still do we just closed Tuesday on our home. Stay South of Sunrise Hwy. and you'll be fine it is a great town.

Re: Lindenhurst?
I live in Lindenhurst, 2 blocks off of the wellwood and straight path intersection; there is nothing wrong with the area, even though it is considered 'north' lindenhurst. My block is quiet, with great houses and friendly 'normal' neighbors; if there is such a thing as a normal neighbor...
You would want to stay away from the pool area (too close to 109/ shady area of west babylon) and from straight path near sunrise highway...
