in your opinion, how is the area? looking at investing in property on 39th st. it says its 2 blocks off of sunrise, by Catskill ave.

doesnt look like it from the pic. is that a nice area though? will i be able to rent it out no problems? how are the schools?

yea, you can totally rent it out. How close is it to the LIRR on Sunrise? That will make it great for renters. Do you have the mls?

its not super close to the train - definitely not walkable, but maybe a 5 minute drive. Is it lindenhurst or copaigue schools? The area is nice, but better to be in lindy than copaigue, and I think thats the border.

If you plan on using it for a rental property, I don't think you'll have a problem at all.
We used to live very close to that area and you'll probably be in Copiague schools. But if you are renting to a couple w/o kids or singles, you'll be fine.
Is it a cape?

Typically Lindy is better South of Sunrise & the Village is great as is the Merridale Park & Venetian Shores/Venice area.
I'm sure you'll be able to rent it though. Just be careful if its not legal.
