Why are you looking for another stroller?

The city mini is pretty good stroller, so I would just stick with that honestly. It folds up pretty well and doesn't take up alot of space

lightweight umbrella stroller help
I just had my second, and my son is currently 2.5 years old. We're hoping to get by without a double stroller too, so we bought a Maclaren Triumph. It's an umbrella stroller that reclines and has some storage room. We can use that for my older son and then use our other stroller for the baby. So far we've been happy with the purchase, but we've only used it a few times. My parents used it a lot when I was in the hospital. It took a little practice to open and close it, but once they got the hang of it they liked it.

I have a Maclaren and love it but, the sun shade is small. The Uppa Baby G-Luxe has a better sunshade.
For the price though - you may be off getting another City Mini...

Re: lightweight umbrella stroller help
I just got one for DD as I had a maclaren and it fell apart and we were traveling soon. It's the Summer Infant 3D lite. It was half the cost and I am happy with it.

Re: lightweight umbrella stroller help
I have a chicco echo (exclusive to target). I got it on sale and it fully reclines. its been great for my DD. she started using it around 8 months or so when we didn't want to pull out the big stroller.
I recently bought a used summer infant 3d lite for travel purposes, and I cant complain about that either. I actually prefer the chicco (easier to recline - can do it with one hand), but maybe its just b/c im used to it. the summer infant does have a better canopy though.
we are also expecting DD2 when DD1 will be 3.5. we bought one of those boogie boards for the current stroller. so maybe that is an option too?

Re: lightweight umbrella stroller help
We have and love the uppababy g-luxe. Our dds are 3 years apart. We also didn't get a double stroller. If it's me and DH with them and dd1 needs a stroller, we put her in the uppababy and dd2 in the Britax b-agile. If dd insists on walking, then I have a lightweight baby carrier (connecta) that I bring so that if dd1 gets tired and wants the stroller, I wear dd2 and dd1 goes in the stroller for a little. This arrangement has worked out well for us. I will also wear dd2 if I'm alone with the 2 of them grocery shopping or anything else. It was less bulky and cheaper than dealing with a double stroller.

The new Maclaren Quest and a few of the others have the new huge sunshade. I love it, you can't get more sunshade than that in an umbrella stroller.

lightweight umbrella stroller help
I love my Maclaren umbrella stroller right now - it folds up and has a shoulder strap to carry it - I keep it in my trunk to use with DS. The basket underneath is huge. I also have a cupholder on it. The seat reclines.
I am expecting #2 in September and just bought the Contours Options tandem double stroller because it is compatible w/ our infant seat and was reasonably priced compared to other doubles. I wanted a tandem double instead of a side by side because I was concerned about fitting through doorways.
