Lighting stores...NOT Lowes or Home Depot
Looking to buy a new chandelier for our dining room. I really would like to see it in person. Any stores in Nassau or Western Suffolk that you recommend?? Thanks

Expo Design Center in Commack or Bayshore Lighting on Main Street in Bayshore both have lighting on display.

i know one in queens..they have alot of stuffs. you can nego on floor sample (and most of the time it's perfectly fine) and also if you pay cash = no tax 
think it's called lighting world. there are 2 lightings store next to each other but it's the bigger one.
not sure if you want to travel that far.

I forgot the name of the store- but its huge and right on Glen Cove Road (where it intersects with Westbury Ave, near Bridal Reflections in Carle Place)....HUGE store, I bought 2 light fixtures there, great customer service.

Culter's on 110 in Huntington. It's a free standing store in the same shopping center as Buy Buy Baby.
There is also a lighting store on Glen Cove Rd in Carle Place near Bridal Reflections.

Illuminations in RVC
I got all my ceiling fans & dining room fixture there. They even custom made some parts of it for me; colors, finish etc.
