Lighting for bedrooms
The house we are hopefully buying only has a simple light fixture in the bedrooms. The master has recessed lighting.
In my current home we have fans with lights in the kids rooms. They don't really use it with the central air though.
I'm undecided if I want to do recessed lighting in all the bedrooms, a fan with lights or just get a nicer simple light fixture.
What lighting do you prefer in the bedrooms?

We put in recessed lighting in the master bedroom (on dimmers), but for our son's room and our third bedroom/office, we put in a ceiling fan lighting fixture. I thought it would be good for my son, who was a baby at the time, to have air circulation, and I like the ceiling fan in the office.

I picked Other. I like having at least one nightstand lamp hooked up to a wall switch near the door.

i have recessed..
i would have liked to put in a chandelier of some sort to really pull the room together

I put other b/c I like lamp lighting in the bedroom. To me, it's more soothing and relaxing than overhead lighting. Also, DH and I both read before going to bed so the lamps are good for that.

I guess I was asking more about the kids room. I don't think they are old enough for lamps. I'm afraid they will knock them over. They are 3 & 4.
