lifting head?
at what age did you dc lift there head. My DS is ten weeks, hates tummy time and is not lifting his head yet. I know its still a little soon but am just wondering what the average is.....funny thing is he seemed to lift his head a bi more when we first did it several weeks ago.....dh just keeps sayig he'll do it when je is ready....he seems to prefer kicking his legs like he wants to crawl!!

DD does it consistently now and she just turned 4 months old. She started diong it early on every now and then but now it's definitely more consistent. I wouldn't worry about it at 10 weeks.

I think mine could lift his head around 6 or 7 weeks, but he couldn't keep it up for any amount of time. He can now, but that's because I'm mean, and I made him do tummy time each day. He hates it, but I put him on his tummy a couple minutes at a time. Now that he can hold his head up longer and look around, he seems to tolerate tummy time more.
