Central Islip, N.Y., Oct. 21, 2008) – This Halloween, Citibank Park will be the place to be as the Long Island Ducks and WALK 97.5 FM will host QuackerJack’s Halloween Extravaganza on Friday, October 31. Join Long Island’s favorite mascot for a weekend filled with chills, thrills and family fun, highlighted by an incredible Grucci Fireworks Extravaganza.

On Thursday, October 30, and Saturday, November 1, brave fans will have an opportunity to pass through the haunted house, which will be open from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. On Friday, October 31, trick or treaters will be treated to several games and events sure to get them into the Halloween spirit. The night begins at 6:00 p.m. and continues until 10:00 p.m. There will be a costume parade around the warning track on the baseball field, with a costume contest to follow. The Bounce House and Speed Pitch will be set up to allow children to enjoy a touch of baseball season. Candy will be available for trick or treats, and those who dare may pass through the haunted house. Capping the extravaganza will be a special Grucci fireworks display.

Tickets are on sale now to QuackerJack’s Halloween Extravaganza for just $10 for adults and $7 for children nine and under. Ducks season ticket holders get a special discounted rate of $7 for an adult ticket and $5 for kids nine and under.
