LH Surge/Level Question?
I could kick myself for not buying the smiley opk this month to save money. I got a positive opk yesterday so I went in for a iui today. They did bloodwork to confirm and were not sure if I caught my surge going up or down (LH level was 15). The doc said he likes to see 20 but since I got the positive opk yesterday and my levels were almost there (two equal color lines) we went ahead. I will go back tomorrow for another (kind of my request). But..Could I still ovulate soon with a level of 15 today? I seem to have another positive today. I will also get bloodwork tomorrow but I just hope I'm not way too early.
We had a great sample today and that is not always the case so I jiust hope the timing is okay. I am a real stresser so any thoughts would be so appreciated??

Re: LH Surge/Level Question?
hmm, i guess they did not do any sonos? if you are just going by blood work, i think it is hard to say today. however, i would not worry too much. you did the first IUI and are doing a second so you will definitely be covered. the sperm live for days and it's best for them to be in there and waiting for the egg. the blood work tomorrow will give you a much better idea.
i want to say, the one time i did see my blood work, the day before ovulation my number rose a bit and then the day i ovulated, it jumped super high (higher than 20). but i don't know my number after that so i can't help with how slowly it dropped.

thanks for the feedback I just hope this works for us this time. I just wish I bought the smiley bc both of my lines are still strong and with the smily there are no guessing games. I'm wondering if I would ahve gotton that smiley yesterday or my first one today and then I wouldn't be in this situation
