Level II Results Question/Comparision

Just curious how the alien compares to others on here..

What was everyone's growth/size percentile??

Mine was in the 30th percentile, so I said to the nurse, doesn't that mean my baby is small-- and that 70% of other babies are bigger than mine? And she said no and that anything over 10% is normal. Chat Icon

How much did your baby weigh at the Level II, and how far along were you?

My baby weighs 14 to 15 oz at this point (21weeks; 5days). The tech told me 15, then when I called to get the report results, the nurse said 14.

I'm not!!!

I am just curious... I swear!

I know I will have a small baby.. I was 5lbs 11oz, and 10 days late. DH was also in the low 7's... So, I think I will have a 6 pounder.

Re: Level II Results Question/Comparision

I didn't get any percentiles. One baby was 10.5 oz the other was 11 oz, I was 20 weeks.

Or it was 11.5 and 12 oz, I can't remember!

Chat Icon that nurse is not completely with it, is she? YES, that means that 70% of babies are larger..... YET, there is a large range of what is considered normal, so you don't have to worry at all unless your baby measures below the 10th percentile Chat Icon

but as you mentioned earlier, you and your DH were both small babies, so it likely is just your natural genetics at work, and nothing wrong at all, so don't worry Chat Icon if there were genuinely a problem, the Dr would have pointed it out.....

My little one was 13 oz at 19w6days-never told a percentile- I dont think the size is very indicative of birthweight so early into it- My DS was always very average but then was born at almost 10lbs ( I was a 6lb baby and my DH was 9) Don't make yourself crazy Chat Icon

Same exact for me 13oz, and I was 20 weeks 1 day. Do not know percentile, but is an intriguing little fact, isn't it?
