exciting! I went to NRAD, but I think we were in there for about an hour, they just analyze everything, all the body parts and organs, make sure everything is ok... first the sono tech did it then they brought in a doctor (who was a moron... sono tech told us it was a boy and pointed out its male parts, the doctor was like "well... its boy-ish.....") have fun looking at your

I had mine at Madonna last friday. As a matter of fact I'm going back tomorrow morning because my lil guy was sitting on his feet so they couldn't get an accurate measurement.
No, the tech tells you nothng! I was practially begging her to tell me something and she politely said,"please don't ask me any questions as I'm not allowed to answer you". But then she was nice enough to get me a doctor to look things over, which then put my mind at ease. All in all they were very nice.

We had ours there too.... we didn't really ask anything, but the tech was talking to us the whole time about what we were looking at and what she was measuring. She didn't give us details, but at the end basically said that everything looked good and to keep doing whatever it is that we are doing.

I didn't have mine done there but it lasted 30-45 min. The tech talked to us the whole time and pointed out whatever she was looking at. They basically look at every part of the baby that they can (heart, brain, kidneys, all body parts, etc.) After the scan the doctor came in just to double check everything. It really is a great appt. because they spend so much time looking at your LO. Looking forward to hearing your update!

We just had ours yesterday and were in the room an hour. You are there as long as need be for them to get pics of everything. Towards theend I had to move around a lot because wasn't cooperating. If your LO cooperates you might be there less time.

I had mine at Madonna in the Brightwaters location. It is a longer scan and depends on if the baby is cooperating. They take all kinds of measurements. Tech will not tell you if they are all ok but will walk you through all the different views.
The report will be send to your OB and you will get the results from him.

I didnt have mine there, but it was over 30 minutes... They measure everything again and look at all organs. They ensure shes growing at the proper rate and all.
At my Drs practice the tech tells you a lot and then a Maternal Fetal Medicine Dr comes right in afterwards and looks everything over and talks to you right then and there...
Then when I met with my regular OB she looks it over and re-iterates whateva the MFM Dr told you.

I didn't ask for the doctor, but my guess is that I was being so annoying asking her a thousand questions, that she just went and got one for me. But you should ask, no harm in asking. If there's one on site, I'm sure he/she will be happy to talk to you.
