Level 2 today...
What do they do in the Level 2? We already know the sexes of the babies but they will confirm again for us. What else do they check for?

They look at everything during this appointment! They will take measurements and look at all bones/limbs and all the organs (heart, brain, kidneys, etc) The appointment takes awhile especially with 2. They will confirm the gender for also.

Oh great I am excited for a long sonogram! Do I need to drink anything before hand? My sister said she needed a full bladder when she went but they never told me anything.

its head to toe sono.. they will check everything.. we had to go back because  wouldn't cooperate.. my tech didn't say anything about a full bladder either.. enjoy!!

this is the best appt. you get to see your LO for a while. i cried at mine  just seeing our little girl moving around in 3D was amazing. she had such personality already.

ETA: i had to drink 24oz. an hour before my appt. i went in, she took 2 pics of my cervix and placenta and then i got to use the bathroom and come back for the rest of the sono.

I just had mine yesterday and this was exactly it. The sono tech pointed everything out on the screen, it was very cool.
I did not have to drink anything before hand. In fact, they had me give my urine sample before i went in.
I wish i could do it again!
