Let's talk work shoes during 2-3rd trimester
I am in the market for shoes that I can wear TO work in the winter and keep them on all day IN the office. The bigger I get, the less likely I will be able to bend down and change from snow boots to nice shoes in the office.
What kinds of shoes can I wear that will look good at work and also have enough traction so I don't slip on the sidewalk or subway when I'm commuting?

I know this might not work for you but as a teacher it works for me.... I wear black sneakers....Some of them look like dress shoes but they are not.

Re: Let's talk work shoes during 2-3rd trimester
wish I could offer some help..i've been wearing flip flops and plan to until my due date on the 27th of this month! My feet are super swollen!
I know that friends in the past get shoes/sneakers a size bigger and WIDER and then switch to slippers during the day, depending on where they work. Also, I heard Uggs are super comfy when preggo. HTH

I haven't really thought about this yet, but what about tall flat boots? I'm planning to get myself a pair (though they're not exactly great for snow depending on the material). Or Ugg-like boots? I'm not sure what kind of office you work in, but I'd be able to get away with them with leggings or tights, even jeans (I work in a casual environment).

Me too- I got a pair of fake sketcher type sneakers from payless (velcro) - they can pass as somewhat business casual and I have had no swelling (I'm 38 weeks today)

I wear comfy flats and sketchers sneakers with velcro when my pants are long enough to hide that it is a sketchers sneaker

I've been living in flats lately and have been very comfy! Luckily I will be avoiding the entire winter commute into NYC ( ) this year, but if I had to hike it in in the snow/slush... I would most likely wear my Uggs into work then change into flats to wear in the office. You could also buy flat leather boots if you don't want to change.

Bending has become a problem for me. I bought comfortable black flats in DSW that I can slip on. They're kind of ugly and matronly, but I don't care!

Wanted to add... I live in these from Aldo. It doesn't even feel like I'm wearing shoes... they are super comfy!

I work in a corporate environment where sneakers or Uggs wouldn't cut it. I can try black sneakers that don't really look like sneakers until I'm told not to!

Re: Let's talk work shoes during 2-3rd trimester
I just bought a pair of black patents flats from payless for like $16. and I hate payless shoes. LOL
I bought them 1/2 size bigger, so my feet are comfy and they slip on & off easily. flexible bottom and sides so that if my feet swell I'm still comfy.
They look cute with dress pants & jeans on the weekends if I dont want to wear sneakers.
