Lets talk highlights

Do you always get a trim or cut after highlights?

Is it absolutely necessary? I know your hair gets damaged from highlighting.

I always do.

Would it be bad to wait a week after?

I'm asking because there's a later in the day appt. I can take and get color and highlights but then due to time I won't be able to get a haircut same day.

I do b/c my salon is a hike for me and I get a discount if I get both done simultaneously...when I get them done separately, it always comes out to like 10 bucks more.

If you have to wait a few days or a week for the trim, there's no harm in it.

Re: Lets talk highlights

Usually before...I absolutely cannot get them done at the same time. I have done it before and I was there for almost 3 hours.
