Lets Talk Dryers

So my avocado green circa 1980 dryer just bit the dust - May it rest in peace.

Please tell me about your dryer. What do you have and how do you like it. Is it worth it to go for a top of the line something or another or should I stick with a basic multi cycle dryer. There are only 3 of us so we don't need super capacity.

Ours died a few weeks ago and we purchased an Maytag Performance series dryer and LOVE it! Remember having a bigger drum is not about how much clothes you can stuff in it. the bigger the drum the more space the clothes have to more around allowing more air movement so you can dry clothes faster in return you save on energy. Our old dryer took 55 min to dry. our new dryer takes 35 min!
