Let's talk bras
I've always been the padded push up type. I added an extender to all my bras and now that is too tight and I can breath. What's a good type of bra for pregnancy? Should I get something without underwire? Do they make that? I'm going to Target later to take a look...

Re: Let's talk bras
You are better off going to the maternity stores. Their bras offer more support than regular bras do. I tried Target and NOTHING fit me!!!
I am actually in desperate need of a new one myself!

Re: Let's talk bras
You're not supposed to wear underwire because it can interfere with the growth of the breats and milk ducts, etc. But I couldn't do it...I have some maternity bras that someone gave me and I hated them - I just went and bought a few new underwired bras, I just made sure they were plenty big and didn't squish me.

Re: Let's talk bras
It took me a LONG time to find a bra that fit well, supported me, and did not have underwire. The underwire was killing me !
I finally found one , by Elle Mcpherson , called Maternelle. They are expensive , but as a 38 DD ( from a 36 C ), I needed the support AND comfort. I highly reccomend it!

Re: Let's talk bras
wait...what???? no underwire.
there is NO WAY I am giving up underwire.
I am approaching E-dom over here, and growing lareger every day. and my boobs are lovely I think my perpetual doning of underwire bras has kept them nice the past 20 years since they've sprouted...through biggage and shrinkage...
NO ONE can make me go NO WIRE.
NO ONE!!!

The sell them at Nordstroms. I went for a fitting just to make sure that I liked it , and then bought all the others of of amazon.com

I totally felt the same way , but when the pain set it, I went for comfort and support. I tried on a few non- underwire bra's , and nothing did the trick like the one I have on now.

Re: Let's talk bras
I have tried so many types when pregnant with DS.. I just ended up buying a larger size that felt comfy... Now pregnant with DD and since I do nothing all day long being a SAHM and on bedrest for number of reasons... I dont wear one at all... I just find it is more comfy with nothing....
