Lenox VENT!

ok so i had this vase from my wedding as a gift. It broke this morning b/c my kitty got scared at something and ran into it.

There is a replacement program. Well newsflash if it is discontinued they will not help u with it!

I called the lenox outlet and a sweet woman helped me. she took my number in case they ever get it. and gave me some numbers to call.

I call customer service and they say there is nothing they can do if it is a closeout and unavailable.

I called woodbury comons and another sweet lady helped me. THEY HAD THE VASE!!!! I was so happy I almost cried! I order it. It was 43.99
after shipping 62 bucks. whatever that is fine

So i call back customer service. And I say that they should pay half of it. as per the "program"

here is what the card says
"This program will offer a replacement, provided one is available, at one-half the suggested retail price at time of the replacement, plus tax and shipping"

so I say I had to call and find it at YOUR outlet store. Isnt Lenox outlet lenox? She says yes. But it has to come from our warehouse. Then I said wel how does this store get their merchndise...from your warehouse! ok I want half off. She talked to a supervisor and comes back and says well the retail price is 86 dollars so half is 43 so you are talking about .99 so it would be .50! I was like "at time of the replacement"

At this point i really could of argued more. I know they called the outlet i bought it from and dbled the price. I AM SOOOOOOOO ANNOYED

So just so everyone knows if your lenox is discontinued they do not help u if it is broken! The 1800 customer service and supervisors are horrible.

But the store sales people are the sweetest.

But I know that the supervisior just turned things around! (I know b/c I used to be a manager) At this point I was like this isnt worth my time I got my vase replaced and I am happy. But I shouldnt have to pay or all of it!

it was just so sneaky to call and then dble the price. I know that vase was not 86! But i Cannot prove that! I wish I had a reciept or the box tag. (it was ripped off)

but if u see your china clearance somewhere buy an extra set b/c once it is discontinued and it breaks LENOX does nothing. I used to love lenox and they just out a sour taste in my mouth! I love to collect the disney figures from movies. I just started and I think I am going to stop now

The MSRP on Lenox usually is much higher than what it sells for at an outlet-or anywhere else for that matter. The Innocense china sets were just on sale at Macy's for $86.99. I think the MSRP on those is $189, but they are almost always on sale for $109.99 for a 5pps.

Which vase are you replacing?

It is just annoying b/c it says suggested retail price at time of replacement.....so it wouldnt be 86 anymore it is 43.99! that is the price in THEIR own store! if it said original suggested retail price fine....but it says "suggested retail price time of the replacement"

oh, you make a VERY good point!!!

I'd pursue it with a Lenox manager (via customer service). I doubt they'd give you any actual money, but they may send you a nice discount coupon for a future purchase.

maybe...i just get so heated and aggravated I dunno if it is worth arguing anymore ya know. I am just relieved i was able to find it. there was only one on ebay. so whatever now. Just makes me doubt Lenox ya know
