Legoland Florida
We're headed down next week for 3 days, staying at the hotel and going to the park etc. - have a few questions for anyone that's been there already..
Is the water park portion something that will take all day, or should we plan on bringing dry clothes with us and finding a locker to put in?
Is the hotel that close by that we could go back to the hotel to change out of wet clothes if need be?
Any other recommendations for things in the area to do? We figured one day for water portion, 2nd day to do other rides and 3rd to do something off site
any tips?
thanks!!

Re: Legoland Florida
My ds and i went last and stayed at the hotel. We were there i believe 3 days 2 nights and it was good. The waterpark didn’t take a full day and it’s all walking distance to the hotel. 2 days we spent at the park and it was good also. We went to dinner off site and just explored but I think the amount of time is perfect and ideal

Re: Legoland Florida
We have annual passes to Legoland so we've been there many times. The waterpark is fun but definitely doesn't take all day. You should take dry clothes with you to change.
The waterpark is quite a walk from the entrance and has some uphill walking so while the hotel is super close to the entrance gates to the park and you could theoretically walk back to the hotel from the water park to change, I wouldn't. It would take time away from other things and would be an annoying walk. The sun is hot enough that you'd probably dry quickly enough. They will not let you leave the waterpark without an appropriate coverup (no swimsuits in the park) so as long as you have that and are comfortable, you can walk around like that.
Two days is more than enough to do everything in the park several times. If you can, drive to Tampa; the Florida Aquarium is great. Busch Gardens is also about an hour I think.

I have nothing to add but we are going at the end of the month. When you get back, can you FM me and let me know how it is and any tips you might have? I think we are actually staying at the Beach villas though.
