Lego Question HAHA

ok... DS is 6. we have BINS and BINS of my husband's old Legos (my MIL never got rid of anything, and we bought our house from them, so they left all of DH's old stuff...)
BUT they're all just loose, not in sets. So i think DS gets overwhelmed of just a bunch of loose legos, not knowing what to build... so he doesn't play with them that much.
BUT he got a couple sets for christmas, and just spent a couple HOURS building them, following the directions all on his own. the quiet was GLORIOUS! HAHA
I don't want to keep buying new sets since we have so many legos from DH... so does anybody know of a book or something that might give him some directions to follow for things to build with all the loose legos we have??

If you go to brickinstructions.com it has instructions for sets by year. I realize you will not have all that info, but just getting the basic instructions should be enough for him to build.

I just bought a book that had 365 things to build. One for each day.

I have this same dilemma at home. Thanks for the suggestion. I just ordered this book on Amazon.
