Leaving daycare, need gift ideas
Need some ideas.
I called the daycare and asked about Mason's fav teachers just to get an idea b/c the infant rooms are always so nuts. These young floaters come and go. I may get a gift for his two head teachers only and a little something for the floaters or maybe the Director and owner. So confused. We're leaving so I don't want to spend a fortune.
Just to add no food b/c there's a cafeteria there and the teachers are fed breakfast and lunch.
Do I get something for the floaters that I see once in a blue moon?
Was thinking a DD GC for the two main teachers and a nice thank you?

Re: Leaving daycare, need gift ideas
I would just get something for the head teachers, a GC, or bath and body works gift set or something. For the floaters, I cant really think of anything right now. Maybe someone will come up with something for you lol
ETA: I know you said no food, but you could just bake cookies for all of them and say its for the assistants too. They'll all share.

Re: Leaving daycare, need gift ideas
thanks! I was thinking of the cookies, but I remember when I spoke with the director they don't like taking home-made food b/c some teachers have allergies
maybe a tray of cookies.
I love the Director and Owner too. Just don't want to spend a fortune for pple we're never going to see again, but I do love them all for taking care of Mason for the year he was there.
Also, I did huge for Xmas and Teacher Appreciation day.
His main teacher in the infant room left so the other two are the only ones I really like. Like I said, the floaters come and go. I meet someone one day then never see them again

This is my biggest pet peeve about day care.
I'd just get a GC for the main teachers and Director.

Re: Leaving daycare, need gift ideas
DD just left her daycare. I gave giftcards to Applebee's to the head teacher and assistant that were in her room every day. I could not keep track of floaters that came and went and was not going to spend a fortune to get them all something. I also wrote a very heartfelt note to the entire staff thanking them.

money... I think gift cards are nice bit in my opinion although daycare is expensive the teachers are not paid enough.
