Leapfrog TAG reading System
Does anyone own this? Any feedback?
Someone gave DS a set of books that come with an electronic reader. He loves it. Made me think about the TAG reaading system which I never considered getting before.
I'm not crazy about buying DS, age 3, many electronic toys but am wondering about this. He's very bright and interested in all types of books. He recognizes some printed words and knows letter sounds.
Would you recommend this or not? Wondering also what teachers have to say about it.

Ds has no interest in his but it may be different for you if you have already limited electronics. Ds is basically like meh give me the ipad. I kinda wish I would have limited him more but now that he's 3 maybe it wouldn't really matter since he's old enough to see and want what others have. idk.

I would get the tag over the tag jr. I got one used at a garage sale with a bunch of books. I feel that is it helpful for independent play. It also encourages my kids to read. I think 3 is the right age for it.
