Laying on couch with laptop on your belly.
Thoughts?
I'm trying to not do it, but sometimes I forget. 
Has anyone asked their doc this? I will when I go next week..just wondering.

i always try to keep it on my legs, not on my belly, cuz my lap top is kinda old and can get really hot...makes me too nervous to keep it over the belly

I have no idea if it's bad or not. I remember in another post a lot of girls do it w/ no worries. I just put a pillow on my lap and put the lap top on the pillow (usually a couch cushion so it's always there)

I asked a loooooong time ago (ie: at the beginning of my pregnancy) and my OB said it was totally fine. I told him we're talking about HOURS a day because I sit at home a lot... and he said still is fine.
I actually have a small lap desk (the kind with the pillow on the bottom and clip board / flat top) that I put my laptop and mouse on and rest that on my legs (well, now legs -- belly's too big). It's always on my lap.

i wouldn't put it directly on my belly. if you have a pillow or some other kind of barrier to block the heat that would be ok i think

My DH is always on patrol to make sure I have a pillow in between the laptop and my belly! I forget all the time, but he's pretty good about reminding me!

That's what I do-the laptop is away from my belly

i honestly never even thought of this, and have had my laptop on my stomach all the time (I usually have my feet on an ottoman and prop the laptop between my stomach and my bent knee). healthy pregnancy so far!
