Laundry Spinoff...
do you fold your towels a certain way??
i like folding them the long way, the way hotels do, and my dh folds them the wide way! i always wind up re-folding them after him...they fit better and look nicer in the close that way.

I hold it long ways and fold it in half long ways (so it's skinny) then fold it over itself 2x. Fits better in the closet. It ends up being longer than wider, if that makes sense.

my cousin uses a dresser for her linens too - whatever works for you. I'm dying to buy a sideboard to stuff all my minens in b/x I need my closet for small appliances and serving pieces.

I do have a certain way. It fold them length wise, then again length wise, then I fold the ends in on each other.

Yes, I fold them in half lengthways, then half again... then take one third and fold it in and the other third on top of that... fits much better on the linen closet shelves that way.
I think I picked up that way from one of my mom's friends... my mom died before I was folding laundry.

I fold thenm so they are sort of in a rectangle. DH's version of folding is leaving them in the laundry basket until I come hold to fold them He knows I will just refold it anyways so why bother?
