Laundry in Italy??
We are going to be in Italy for 13 days (leaving tomorrow, yay!!) We are trying to pare down our suitcases...would you feel comfortable having your laundry done at a hotel? It is a nice hotel...but friends of ours were like, no! They'll steal your clothes!!
Have any of you done this in a foreign country??
TIA~~~

Of course I would be comfy with it. DH and I have our laundry done all the time in hotels all over the world. Never had problems and everything comes back clean and neatly folded

Re: Laundry in Italy??
I think it's fine. DH and I never had to have it done at a hotel because we always stay/visit with family (so we do our laundry there between trips) but I would definitely do it. It beats having to go the laundromat and doing it yourself!
And I would never worry about Italians wanting to steal my clothes...I think it would be the other way around .
Have a great time!

I was JUST going to say this!!!
you can also do your own laundry. there are laudromats to be found...and you can even make friends.
we befriended an Icelandic business student studying abroad at a laundromat in Siena
ugh, I am just so annoyed by the way people think sometimes!
have a GREAT time!!!

Re: Laundry in Italy??
I dropped off laundry at a random laundrymat in outer prague and didn't lose a single item - I would totally do it at a hotel.
and I agree with the others - I don't generally bring clothes that I mind losing.
