Laundry HELP

Someone please give me some adivce, I am a student/wife and live in an apartment with laundry facilities. These laundry facilities are broken and I need to do laundry. I have always wanted to just drop it off somewhere and have someone else do it for me, but I have no idea where to go or how much it costs. Does anyone have suggestions for a business in Nassau County, preferably Garden City, Mineola, East Meadow areas or close?

Thank you in advance!

Re: Laundry HELP

your local laundromat should do it. I think usually its something like 80 cents a pound...

When I had an apartment, I used to drop my laundry off all the time and just pick it up the same day. Honestly, I miss it Chat Icon

I went to a place in Westbury on Carmen Ave. I am sure if you go to any Laundromat, they offer those services though.

Where do you live???? Because, all the areas you mentioned above are not "shady" so I really think you have nothing to worry about. All you do it drop it off and pick it up the same day or next day.

It sounds like you are talking about Jim Jam...on Merrick Avenue before the Southern State but it's North Merrick (East Meadow is further North - but close Chat Icon )

Re: Laundry HELP

Thanks SO much everyone. I took my stuff to the one in Westbury, but I am keeping the name and number of the other one in East Meadow for the future. I ended up taking a TON of laundry and it was $28 so I am happyChat Icon

Re: Laundry HELP

I used to do laundry in a laundromat in Carle Place. I am not sure of the name, but it is on Glen Cove Rd, across from Voice Rd, in the T.J. Maxx Shopping Center. The place was really clean and they do a LOT of drop off service. I would definitely use them if I were going to do drop off and still lived in the area.

I use this one too, have been for 12 years. They are the best!!! Clean and usually they have no problem with same day service!!
