Laundry Detergent?
What are you supposed to use to wash newborn's clothing with? I usually use Tide for DH and I. What else should I know about washing infant clothes?

Re: Laundry Detergent?
You have to use something that has no perfumes or dyes. You can use Dreft, but it kind of expensive, or just get All Free and Clear.
Also, I was told not to use dryer sheets with infant clothes because it destroys the flame retardant qualities.

Re: Laundry Detergent?
We use All Free and Clear. We know DS isn't allergic by this point, but we do it now for the dog who is allergic to everything

Re: Laundry Detergent?
Most people seem to recommend Dreft. I went to buy some a couple of weeks ago and noticed that it was twice as much as the other detergents, so I just grabbed Purex Baby instead since DH & I use Purex and I like the brand.

We use Purex Baby as well. If anyone wants Dreft though, I found it to be a LOT cheaper (than at BBB and BRU) at Wal-Mart!

So far we have been washing everything in Dreft. Target sells a generic Dreft.

Re: Laundry Detergent?
I always used regular detergent with my kids clothes and they never had a reaction.

Re: Laundry Detergent?
I use anything that says "free" like Tide Free or All Free.
My mom was nice enough to pick up a bottle of Dreft for me, so I'll try that out as well.

I think I'm going to use all free and clear. Dreft is a lot of $ plus my washer is HE and I only use a teeny bit
