late xmas eve parties...
we don't have to go until 7 it is soooo late but what can you do? at least there will be no traffic!!! My family is late night owls.............

same here! pretty much everyone on DH's side is working today, so the normally late festivities got pushed back even later.

yup that is what happened here. my mom is still working and my aunt also... it is going to be a late night hope dd can make it!!

Honestly I always liked the late night festivities...it really felt like Christmas "EVE"....
My kids have all been night owls so it didnt really intefere with anything..it is always such an extra treat for them...

We are supposed to be in Manhattan at 6:00-6:30. DH has to work in Brooklyn at 10:30, so he can just go down from there

We are going at 7pm or so too. DD hasn't napped all day so DH is driging up and down 135 with her now. But she needs a bath before we go out...or we may just wind up letting her sleep in the car until 7!
I plan to bring my P&P just in case. We are usually out until midnight.

Landon was up til 1am last night! He is a party animal!
He woke up at his usual time of 7am today. I was hoping to get some extra sleep this morning.

Rachel stayed up until 11:30 and then slept until 9:30 this morning - which I view as her gift to me, since normally she's up at 7-7:30  . We tried putting her down at 9ish, but she wanted no part of it - she wanted to party and be with everyone.

Jonathan fell asleep and 8:30. We put him in his play pen and slept through all of the noise while we opened presents.
He promptly woke us up at 5:30.
