Las vegas

I'll be in Las Vegas next week. Has anyone been to Shark Reef Aquarium? I was wondering how much time to expect to spend there? I was figuring 2 hours, would i need more than that?

Any Vegas tips or suggestions? We have never been before.

If you are going to see any shows, I would highly recommend Cirque du Soleil "O" or La Reve (loved them both, but I think O was the best Cirque show I've seen). Its corny, but I love the gondola ride at the Venetian and love to watch the fountains outside the Bellagio. If you ahve a car, Red Rocks Canyon is right outside of Vegas and is beautiful! Or you could do a day trip to Hoover Dam/Grand Canyon.

Re: Las vegas

thanks!

We have tickets to Love. Its the beatles Cirque show.

We are staying overnight 2 nights at the grand canyon. Stopping at hoover dam on the drive back to vegas. We are ending our trip with 2 nights in the red rock area - we are attending a wedding there. We are sandwiching in 3 nights on the strip. :) Its going to be a busy week, but I think it will be fun!

I heard Love is great too - we were going to see it last time we were there, but the night we had free was the night the show was "off", so we saw La Reve instead. Sounds like you have a great week planned. Enjoy!

You might want to spend a day just walking through some of the hotels - almost all of them have something really interesting to see.(ie New York New York has a roller coaster on the outside of the building; Venetian has the gondola ride; Bellagio always has a beautiful botanical display inside as well as the foutains outside; Treasure Island has a pirate show at night). There's also Freemont Street, which is "old" Vegas - cheesey, but something to see and there's a small zipline over the "street"

Re: Las vegas

I actually just came across my souvenir photo from the Shark Reef Aquarium! We went there the first time that we went to vegas & never went back because it is a small aquarium so 2 hours is more than enough time. Still fun, but small. We always have such a geat time in vegas! enjoy!

We saw Love last year in Vegas - it was amazing! DH and I both loved it!

Some other things we did:

Gondola ride in the Venetian
Fountains outside the Bellagio
Top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris
Volcano outside of the Mirage
Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat - Mirage
Phantom of the Opera in the Venetian
