Laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis
Has anyone had laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis? What is the recovery like? My best friend is having it done today.

i had it years ago. i was sore for a few days, but nothing crazy. she'll be fine.  good luck to her!

I just had it done in July. It took about 3 days before I started feeling normal.The worst was the gas they inject into you.

oh tell her during her recovery to elevate her legs. Really reduces the gas pressure.

Thanks for the info! Her surgery went well and though she is in a lot of pain, she is feeling better each day.
I told her to elevate her legs and she said it really does work wonders in easing the gas pains - thanks!
