Landscape designer?
We have to make some decisions on how we want to do our backyard. Right now it is a huge plot of dirt  . We have someone who is doing the work for us but we would really like to sit with a designer who we can help us with ideas on how to lay out the whole thing, including our patio and deck. Anyone know of anyone good?

I am in the exact same position as you - a huge lot of dirt! We are using zorn landscaping. They haven't begun work yet - so I can't speak to the result, but he did do the pavers in my front yard and I'm very happy with them:
