Land Excusions Bahamus Cruise/Cococay and Nassau

I'm going on a Royal Caribbean cruise line with my husband in April. It's our fiirst cruise ever, so can you please let me know what are fun land excursions and what's a total waste of money. Please help! TIA

I did the kayak trip on Coco Cay, that was fun.

I wouldn't do the trip to the beach on Nassau with RC, they're so overpriced. Just hop on the bus for $1.

I just went on a similar cruise. Since I am pregnant, we didn't sign up for any ship excursions.
In Nassua, we took a water taxi to Paradise Island. We went to Atlantis - the casino, aquarium, and their private beach. The water taxi is $3 each way per person. Atlantis is $55 each person (they let us in for free because I am pregnant ) but there is also a public beach on Paradise Island if you don't want to pay the $55. The ship had an exursion for the same exact day we did for $120 per person. You can definitely do things cheaper on your own.
Coco Cay - we got lounge chais, and went swimming. You can rent rafts or kayaks but we did neither. DH played some beach volleyball while I napped. They have a "water park" with slides and stuff - but I wasn't allowed on that either. There are a lot of shops and they have hamburgers, hotdogs, chjcken wings BBQ for lunch.
