Lamaze Class Starting This Evening - Update
We will be taking classes from today through August 28. We are so excited.
Any info on what to expect during the classes? TIA!!

It depends on where you take it. I had mine in my doctors office and got nothing from it. But from what I hear, some of the hospital classes are really good. Be prepared to watch a really graphic labor and delivery movie though.

Thanks for warning about the movie. I only hope I do not pass out on DH. LOL. I am doing it at the hospital where I will be delivering.

I enjoyed my class a lot. We got background (biological) info on the birth process, learned the breathing techniques, and watched a video of a birth (natural and C-section).
I liked interacting with DH and seeing how he can help through the process. And he was a fabulous coach with #1.

UPDATE:
We did the first out of seven class last
night and so far it is quite informative and fun. Our instructor is very knowledgeable, fun, with alot of experience under her belt.
DH and I are looking forward for next week class.
