Lakeside Collection ( catalogue)
Has anyone ever ordered from them ?
I had a terrible experience last Christmas with them ( most of my items were out of stock, couldnt get customer service on the phone etc..etc..) I now just got their new catalogue and theres some cute things in there...I'm just so hesitant that we will have the same issues... ( I'm hoping the problem last year was that it was C-mas time  )
Any experiences?

I just got that catalog too! There are a few things in there I LOVE but I dont think I will be ordering. Ive had such bad experiences with them for years. Their customer service is AWFUL. If you want it for Christmas, I say order it NOW! Its a shame because the prices and quality are wonderful!

Oh no! i order from them every year and never had a problem ( knock on wood ) and I probably have about 20 pages folded over in their new catalog right now! lol hope my luck continues.

Never heard of them, but I just looked through the catalog I got the other day and some of the stuff is pretty cheap... How is the quality?

Of the few things I "did" actually receive from them, the quality was good....
A friend of mine had ordered those canvas bin shelves and it was kinda  because they were much smaller than you might imagine from the picture ( she didnt look at the dimensions  )
My main issue with them is that on top of 80% of my items being placed on back-order, I was not made aware that they were on BO until real close to C-Mas ( leaving me in a rut last minute) ...Couldnt get a hold of them via phone ( busy signal literally all hours of the day/night) and got no response to my e-mail customer service querys...Some items just never showed and I had to "hope" for a refund and a copule of things arrived long after C-Mas was long over

i order from there often too. I usually dont have any problems. But i do notice around the holiday time if you dont order early a ton of stuff is usually OOS.

I've ordered a few things, like everyday household items, all were good quality, not top notch though.
As for furniture, my MIL has ordered a few things and they have all been poorly made, and with the cheapest materials possible. Most don't last either.
I have tried to order somethings near christmas and they are always out of stock, so if you see something you want, order it now, I have never had luck with them re-stocking the items.

yhea i ordered from them a few times too if you don't order early there usually oos. Also If you order on line you can track you order and it will tell you if its back ordered and wheni t's expected to come in.

They do have lot of brand name tings cheaper too - like that Disney waffle and brownie maker is about $5 cheaper than at the disney store.
I've never ordered from them though.

same here, I Love lakeside and have never had a problem
same for me. and the price/quality is always great and I've never had any issues with returns.

my sister orders from them every year... she passes the catologue around at work and anyone that wants to order, they make it one big order. she's never had a problem and she's been doing this for probably 10 years.
eta- she always does it around christmas time as well.
