Re: lake george
we went camping there maybe two years ago or so
they had a fun little main street town with little shops, ice cream parlors, a great mini-golf course and we also did a lake cruise that was fun- our friends have kids and the kids had a blast

Re: lake george
I was there last year and stayed at a friend's house, so I can't help with the lodging side, but yes, Lake George is extremely family friendly. There are water parks, mini golf, and Great Escape is right up the street. Another fun thing to do is rent a pontoon boat for a few hours. You can tour the lake on your own, bring a picnic and swim right off the boat.

Re: lake george
We went 2 years agao and stayed at the Mohawk Motel - they had townhouses and we shared it with 2 other coupoles and their kids. We had 6 adults and 5 little girls under 4. It was nice because we could walk into town and they had a pool and playground on the grounds. Plus it was great to have a kitchen and not have to eat out for all meals esp with little kids.
