Is brown discharge normal? I am 37 weeks today....

Could it be your mucus plug?
The only time I experienced brown discharge was yesterday when I lost my mucus plug.

Yup, I would think it's your mucous plug. Havent had any brown discharge..yet.

Did you have an internal? My OB said it's normal to see some spotting or brown discharge after having an internal exam.

I was going to say the same thing.
You can experience this discharge 24-48 hours after internal exam.

You havent had any yet?
If not then check toilet paper if it keeps coming or increases in amount/color...I would call your dr...or actually call anyway!
