Lactaid Milk

Does it have a funny smell and a sweeter taste or is it bad? It says March 08 08 but it smells awful. My first time buying it.

I HATE lactaid milk. DH and BIL are both lactose intolerant.

BIL and SIL only buy lactaid milk...I used it on my cereal and I think it tastes so gross...you are right, its sweeter and weird smellling. Nothing is wrong with it, that is how it tastes.

I stopped eating my cereal and commented on it and they were surprised and said they thought it tasted like regular milk. NOPE!

**DH used regular 1% milk, he just takes a lactaid pill before!

I've never noticed a bad smell, but it does taste sweeter. I'm not sure why, I used to think because it adds the lactase enzyme, and it also tends to last way longer than regular milk. Maybe that's why? As for bad smelling, I am not a regular milk drinker (ie: I could never stomach drinking a glass of milk on it's own, only if I add syrup to it or add to cereal or coffee/tea) so I don't buy it all the time but when I do I have never smelled a bad smell from it.

Lactaid milk is very icky to me!!! It definitely has a particular "taste" to it - don't remember if it has a smell. I have to take lactaid pills before eating/drinking anything with dairy. We buy lactose free, fat free milk but NOT lactaid cuz I think it's gross, lol.

I'm lactose intolerant too, and can't stand Lactaid milk.

Have you tried Silk vanilla soy milk. It tastes really good! I actually like it MUCH better than any kind of regular milk!
