Labor and anxiety...
Lately i have been having moments of total anxiety I assume about labor and delivery but im not so sure. I just notice out of nowhere my heart starts racing...almost like a panic attack. Just wondering if anyone is as nervous about labor and delivery and panicking....

I felt this exact same way in the weeks leading up to delivery. As a BTDT mom with anxiety problems who went through labor and a vaginal birth~ what you envision is MUCH worse than the actuality.
Does it hurt? Hell yes!! BUT, when you are going through L&D, it's almost like an out of body experience. You are running on adrenaline and even though you are in pain, it's a different kind of pain. SOMEHOW you are able to push through it (no pun intended ). You don't fall apart and collapse from the pain because you CAN'T.
Believe me, after giving birth, you will be AMAZED at yourself and what your body can do.....

I totally agree with this. I was so nervous and I cried so many times about the fear of the unknown~labor. 2 and a half years later I want to go through it again, so I guess it can't be that bad.
It is painful, but it is a pain that will go away. There are so many drugs that can take the pain away, you will hardly feel a thing.
If I can deal with the pain (and I'm a big baby, then anyone can do it).
