Nisen in Commack or Woodbury, Takio in Rockville Centre, but I have to say my top one is Aki in E.Northport on Jericho Tpke

I agree. Kotobuki is good, don't get me wrong, but the wait and hype surrounding it is a bit ridiculous in my opinion. I love Nissen!

We really enjoy Kotobuki in Babylon. We make a night of it. We go, put our name on the list with our phone number. Then we go to the bar next door, have a few before dinner drinks.
DH loves the quality of the fish. I love the dish that I get there (I don't do sushi so I get a udon dish with vegetables in this amazing sauce).
DH also loves the fish at the Thai place in Massapequa by the mall. Thai Greenleaf. They deliver all the way to Lindenhurst for us all the time.

aji 53 in bay shore is awesome!
shiki in babylon is pretty good
there is a place in commack on jericho...i'll have to get back to u w/the name--that was really good as well....sakura across from kotobuki is good too......

All of these places are just as good as Kotobuki. Aji 53 has some really creative rolls, and we usually get take out from Sakura. Nissen is on Jericho Tpke in Commack, by Trader Joes - is that what you're thinking of?
